He is also one of the best regarded and most international Japanese artists. In 2002 he made his debut on Coda, a label owned by James Ruskin, who is also known for running Blueprint Records. His debut track departed from the four on the floor pattern with an offbeat sound of his own. His releases have received support by artists like Surgeon, Óscar Mulero, Peter Van Hoesen and Svreca.

In 2004, Go Hiyama made his European debut in Spain. People recognized that he had his own style. His Japanese style of techno was pure, unique and underground – nothing that had been heard before in Europe. His reputation and popularity quickly spread all over the continent. He was becoming recognized as one of Japan’s most underground and respected techno Live Act, playing at top class events like Awakenings in Netherlands, Svojsice in the Czech Republic, and CODE Festival in Spain. One of his most recent gigs was at Berghain Berlin, which is considered one of the best clubs in the world. In 2009, he moved to Tokyo and started his own record label, Hue Helix.
