Arkham Presents | 4x4x4x4 ft. ELVIS. T // MIIIA // MAX SHEN
Arkham is spreading the 4×4 style dance music this Saturday night and have invited two of this cities best DJ’s: MIIIA form Co:Motion and ELVIS.T from DOT Records will be joined by 4x4x4x4 resident, MAX SHEN. All 3 will play killer techno, tech house and deep house all night long.
Entry is only 30 RMB and it includes one drink!

Hailing from Taipei, ELVIS.T started his career as a DJ back in 1998. Since 2001, ELVIS.T has been producing electronic music and is recognized as a pioneer in electronic music production in China. His techno/minimal tracks reflect his exquisite style and deep understanding of different music genres, and present an experience of sound that leave listeners captivated, moved and inspired. It is no fluke that ELVIS.T’s original approach, crisp technique and focus on attention to subtle sonic details quickly escalated his reputation internationally.
In 2007, ELVIS.T moved to Beijing and quickly became one of the most sought-after DJ names in the Chinese electronic scene. His works has also been picked up by overseas labels including Germany,UK,Switzerland, Japan,Korea and Malaysia.
ELVIS.T was also titled “Best DJ in Beijing” in TimeOut Beijing magazine 2010 Bar & Club Awards and was voted “Beijing-Based DJ of The Year” in City Weekend Readers’ Choice 2011&2015 Awards.
In 2013, his track “Holzig” under a new artist name “Technetium” reached No. 18 on Juno Download Techno Chart, and was also recommended by RA.
In April 2013, ELVIS.T founded new label DOT Records, which will keep push the development of China’s electronic music scene.
ELVIS.T’s new artists name “Art’s Difficult” is just came out in 2015, presenting a dark,deep and industrial sound back in the 90’s.The new track “Smear” is released from Berlin label “Be Sure” and is supported by many top producers like Chris Liebing and Mike Wall.

Chinese Canadian electronic music artist MIIIA has been weaving her unique blend of vibes at the forefront of Shanghai’s underground music scene since she settled down in this city. With a relentless passion for creation, she is continuously building a musical dream-world that grows from the studio into her on-stage performances. Countless party-goers have fallen for her talent and charisma; she is truly a leader of China’s current underground music movement.
After being exposed to rave culture in Canada, MIIIA’s Shanghai journey began with a weekly radio session at uDance (the first 24hr underground music radio station in China). Her weekly live show ‘Tripout Session’ was ranked no.1 for the station, and for this she was invited to perform at the opening of the inaugural International Radio Music Festival in Zurich. It was the beginning of an expansion out of her local scene: since then MIIIA has performed in Spain, Germany, Canada, Korea, Hong Kong, Taipei, and numerous cities in mainland China.
MIIIA is a resident with the strongest house and techno promoters in China, including Footprint, DOT and Co:Motion, and has shared stages with artists such as Function, Secret Cinema, Doomwork, Levon Vincent, Mr. C, Steve Bug, Lawrence, Sodeyama, Ramon Tapia, Jay Tripwire, and Efdemin. She has also been invited to play for festivals such as Strawberry, Midi, and Storm. Storm signed MIIIA to represent the festival, playing a a 6-city China tour.
In 2014 MIIIA was one of a handful of China-based artists selected to attend the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp, performing and workshopping with Benji B, Axel Boman, Just Blaze and Hudson Mohawke.
2015 brought the release of MIIIA’s latest EP, ‘STORM,’ for Korean label ECI. The release includes her dark and dreamy original plus remixes from Hi-tek Soul master Jay Tripwire and London-based artist Nokken.

As manager of Arkham, one of the most important underground clubs in China, Max has 14 years experience in the electronic music industry. He started DJing at the age of 18 – from the early days at CLUB V, VIPROOM, FABRIQUE and VOLAR, he has always stayed true to promoting deep house and techno, where his passion lies. “A DJ should always stay at the cutting edge of trends, but should never be affected by trends.”
Since 2000, Max has shared stages with some of the most prominent DJs and artists in the world including Timo Mass, Sasha, Adam Freeland, Ferry Corsten, Rennie Pilgrem, Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, Plump DJs, John 00 Fleming, Yuksek, Para One, Cold Cut, Shin Nishimura, Electric Rescue, Daedelus, Doomwork, and Martin Eyerer.
