Asian Vibes主脑Yoshinaga从去年5月起在全球最高品质独立网络电台Fnoob(UK)的Techno频道主持的Podcast如今终于迎来了它的一周年特别派对!在过去的一年里,共有十位上海的优秀DJ交出了他们最个性最高品质的set,向世界展示了他们的实力。

本次派对邀请了部分参与制作Podcast的嘉宾DJ – “上海Techno之子”MHP,刚在柏林最著名的夜店Tresor演出过的Absorbed,Molly House 创始人Max Shen,美丽而大胆的Techno新女将Lina K,当然还有Yoshinaga本人,为大家带来一整晚酣畅淋漓的Techno!而来自日本的二人组Drunken Kong也将作为特别嘉宾前来庆祝。没有软绵绵的暖场,不存在125以下的BPM,我们玩狠的!每个DJ都会拿出他们的看家本领向你展示Techno的力量!

Drunken Kong

在2010年,D. Singh和DJ Kyoko,两个来自不同音乐背景的人,突然决定一起做一首歌,于是组成了这个二人组。从那以后,Drunken Kong便开始专注实验不同风格的Techno。自2011年底的第一场演出以来,Drunken Kong一直活跃于东京的techno场景,在Womb,Ageha,Air等著名夜店演出,并逐渐扩展到了日本和亚洲的其他地区。不仅在本土厂牌发行多首作品,同时也在罗马、伦敦、柏林等地厂牌发行。他们最近在Unity Record发行的作品得到了D-Unity, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Bart Skils等众多大牌的鼎力支持。Adam Beyer也在他的电台秀Drumcode Radio中播放了他们的单曲“Beat It”。强有力的DJ风格和独特的魅力总能让舞池处于疯狂状态。

在过去十二年的音乐历程中,他的音乐含盖了前卫音乐、实验电子、电音舞曲、视觉艺术及现代舞配乐等领域。从风格到技术,都是中国电子音乐发展的一个缩影。他的音乐呈现出独树一帜的画面感和科幻意象,被称为“上海techno之子”。

Absorbed

来自德国的Below Surface & Florian Bo组成的二人组。在2014年底,他们发行了首张EP《Introduction》,被Techno传奇Marco Bailey收入他的DJ Chart,得到Oscar Mulero等一众大牌的支持,并且被大名鼎鼎的柏林夜店Tresor定为头牌嘉宾。

Max Shen

作为中国最重要的独立文化CLUB之一的ARKHAM的管理者,Max有着14年的电子音乐经历。18岁开始DJ历程,从早期的CLUB V到VIPROOM,从FABRIQUE到VOLAR,他始终坚持自己热爱的deep house 和techno音乐的推广。“DJ始终要走在潮流前列,但不要被潮流左右。”

Lina K

Lina K来自摩尔多瓦,2011年来到上海,2013年开始她的DJ生涯。出于多年来对电子音乐的热情,Lina拥有大量的唱片收藏,对音乐有着很深的理解。她的现场风格游走在Deep House,Tech House,Techno之间,人们总会被她完美无瑕的现场表现所迷惑。现在,Lina K已成为10 Corso Como,Lune,Bar Rouge等各大夜店的常客,也经常受到音乐节,时装秀等大型活动的演出邀请。

Yoshinaga

90年代作为Rock乐队的吉他手展开活动,创作了众多Rock乐曲,并自行制作发行CD。2003年定居上海,06年开始在上海DJ。2011年创立了派对品牌“Asian Vibes”,2013年开始“中国首演系列派对”,邀请国际DJ来上海演出,2014年开始担任英国Fnoob网络电台Techno频道的主持人,同时与国内DJ合作开拓中国地下电音市场。

Since last May, Asian Vibes founder Yoshinaga has been hosting monthly podcast on the worlds finest internet techno radio Fnoob (UK), introducing excellent Shanghai based DJs to the world. And finally, here comes its first anniversary! During the past one year, 10 local heros submitted their special sets with best quality.

For the very first anniversary party, we invited part of the 10 heros – “The Son of Shanghai Techno” MHP, German duo Absorbed who just burnt the floor of the world famous club Tresor, Molly House founder Max Shen, sexy and bold techno woman Lina K, and Yoshinaga himself – to bring you a whole night of sound techno, with special guest Drunken Kong from Japan to celebrate the night! Discarding the boring soft warm up or anything under 125bpm, we play hard! Each dj will do their best to show you the ball of techno!

Free entrance before 11pm, rmb50 after 11pm with one vodka shot, just come as you are!

Drunken Kong

Drunken Kong is the project of D. Singh and DJ Kyoko. In 2010, the two started their project when one day, they suddenly decided to make a track together. Since then Drunken Kong focuses on experimenting with different styles of techno. Both members, coming from different musical backgrounds, have put their minds and energy in creating uplifting music. Since the first gig of Drunken Kong at the end of 2011, they have been constantly active in the Tokyo techno scene, playing regularly at major Tokyo clubs such as Womb, Ageha, and Air. From then on, they have also been expanding their gigs to other regions of Japan and Asia. The two are also planning a Europe tour in this summer of 2015.

In early 2012, they successfully released their first EP on Rome based label Beenoise Records. Since then, they have also released on labels such as London based Twisted Beats and Berlin based Parlez Music. The duo have also been active with the domestic labels as well, releasing an EP from Shin Nishimura`s Plus Records and various tracks from Session Trax of Womb. Their recent release from Unity Record has gained support from very successful artist such as D-Unity, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Bart Skils and more. Their release “Beat It” has also been played by Adam Beyer in his famous Drumcode Radio #207.

He’s a senior musician. During the past 12 years, his music covers the avant-garde music, experimental, electronic dance music, soundtrack for visual arts and contemporary dance, etc. He’s called “The Son of Shanghai Techno” for his music revealed a unique sense of screen and science fiction imagery. In recent years, he actively promoting the avant-garde music culture of China, organizing international exchange performances and academic lectures.

Absorbed

Absorbed’s sound is state of the art Techno, made of heavy bassdrums, sharp hihats and intelligent synthesizers, mixed and mastered in a magical way that really makes a difference. Not without a reason Techno legend Marco Bailey charted their track “Introduction” of the same called EP, which was published on Advanced from Berlin and received massive support from big name DJs like Dandi & Ugo, Marcel Dettmann, Oscar Mulero and Pierre Deutschmann, to just name a few. It was the same debut release of the German duo, which got them booked as the headliner of a Saturday night in the world famous Tresor Berlin (LIVE set), the big Sugarfactory Amsterdam (DJ set) and the rising star Skala Bielefeld (LIVE) during their recent Europe tour.

Max Shen

As a manager of Arkham, one of the most important underground clubs in China, Max has 14 years experience in the electronic music industry. He started DJing at the age of 18 – from the early days at CLUB V, VIPROOM, to FABRIQUE and VOLAR, he has always stayed true to promoting deep house and techno, where his passion lies. “A DJ should always stay at the cutting edge of trends, but should never be affected by trends.”

Lina K

Born in Chisinau, Moldova, DJ Lina K arrived in Shanghai back in 2011 but didn’t start her DJ career until late 2013. Growing up in an eclectic diet of techno and deep house provided by her young record collection, her roots have been cultivated during many years due to her passion for electronic music, developing a deep understanding for it. The crowd is always mesmerized by her flawless performances and music styles moving from deep house, tech house and techno. She truly devotes plenty of time to study and research new emerging artists and tracks.

Yoshinaga

Moved to Shanghai in 2003 and started djing since 2006. In 2011, he founded the party brand “Asian Vibes” and became active in Shanghai electronic scene with his unique Japanese style house/techno. In 2013, started his project “China Debut Series”, invited many international artists to Shanghai for their debut performance. In 2014, he began to host podcast on Fnoob Radio (UK)’s techno channel, and keep exploring the Chinese underground electronic scene with local djs.
